With arms outstretched, lean against a wall in a push up position
Your body should form a straight line from your ankles to your head
Engage your core muscles
Lower your body until your chest touches the wall then push your body away from the wall
At the end of the movement push your upper back away from the wall, rounding it. This is a subtle movement – hold it for a second then return to the starting position.
The further your feet are from the wall the more difficult this exercise becomes. This exercise can also be performed on the floor
What My Patients Are Saying
Gaelan is a great Chiropractor. He helped me get past some hip tightness and low back pain. He did a great job of giving me exercises to do on my own. I looked forward to his treatments because they left me feeling better.
In times of stress playing basketball is where I find comfort. Over the years, as much as it has helped me it has also caused its damage to my body. I plan on playing for as long as I can until my body tells me I can’t. That time might come sooner than I would like but I know it has been extended with Gaelan's expert help.
To say I was impressed with our initial and subsequent sessions is an understatement.
I would happily recommend your services to any of my clients, friends and family and I look forward to working with Gaelan for years to come!
I was experiencing shin pain for several months that I was unable to get rid of with regular stretching. Often, my shin pain would prevent me from jogging. After one visit with Dr. Gaelan I have been running shin pain free. I would absolutely visit Dr. Gaelan again for any aches or pains.
I’ve been to several different chiropractors over the past 20 years, but Dr. Gaelen stood out among them. Whereas most chiropractors will do some manipulations and then just talk to me (if I’m lucky), Dr. Gaelen performed muscle work by actively stretching my muscles and using the graston technique, and showed me stretching and exercises to correct my posture. He also took the time to explain what my muscle imbalances were in order to better understand the stretches and exercises he recommended for me. I felt immediate improvement in my neck and back after I saw Dr. Gaelen and I will definitely see him again in the future.
Over the past several years, I've had a nagging "knot" in my back left shoulder. I've had all sorts of treatments and none worked permanently. Dr. Connell, after three treatments, rid me of that knot and it hasn't come back!
Dr. Gaelan changed my health! When I was studying for exams and had neck pain and headaches he treated me and I felt better right away and was able to get through my exams. Best part of it is that my neck pain hasn't come back either!
